Big Mac’s story
Big Mac was first picked up as a kitten by his previous family but was abandoned in 2023 when he was about 2 years old. Big Mac is an big-sized energetic and confident cat with a personality very similar to a dog. He can keep you entertained for hours. He likes to lick you to show his love to you and he likes to have his fur brushed, play football, chase and hide and seek! 😆 Besides, he likes to chill out by watching the birds from the window, listening to music and lying next to the computer while you work. He’s also very chatty and playful making him a perfect choice for your new best friend. Since Big Mac is such an active and demanding cat, he needs a lot of stimulation and should be the only cat in a household with an experienced cat owner. 🥰

Hong Kong Paws Foundation (HKPAWS) is a locally registered, non-profit animal welfare charity (Charity No.: 91/11168). With no government funding or corporate backup, HKPAWS relies solely on public donations to realize our goals. Every day, we rescue cats and dogs that have been abused, abandoned, injured, and displaced. Since early 2005, we have been working closely with local animal shelters, fosters and adopters, rehoming thousands of cats and dogs so far. We currently operate two boarding facilities: The Bow Wow Inn for dogs in Kam Tin, New Territories & Cat House in Tin Hau. Through veterinary treatment, behavior training, socialization, and foster services - and by all means prioritizing animal welfare – our vision is to eventually rehome every one of them to the best possible match of adopters.
